Mazda CX-30 Introduces New Features and Rising Prices for 2025 Model Year

The Mazda CX-30, known for its stunning looks and great driving experience, has emerged with several new features for the 2025 model year. Although its price has increased slightly, it has managed to maintain its admiration with new updates and features.

New Features and Updates

The 2025 CX-30 now includes Alexa built-in, allowing drivers and passengers to take advantage of hands-free operation. In addition, the new online navigation system has the capability of "expanded mapping data with live traffic" and "over-the-air (OTA) map updates," making your trip even more seamless. Mazda Connected Services are free for a year, although the in-car Wi-Fi hotspot will only be active for three months or 2 GB of data usage.

Aero Gray Metallic paint, previously available in the Miata exterior color palette, is now a $450 option for the CX-30.

Price Increase

MSRP on all 2025 CX-30 trims has increased by $150. Destination fees have also increased to $1,420, adding $45 to the price of each car. The new prices are as follows:

  • 2.5 S: $24,995
  • 2.5 S Select Sport: $26,650
  • 2.5 S Preferred: $28,940
  • 2.5 S Carbon Edition: $29,940
  • 2.5 S Premium: $32,140
  • 2.5 Carbon Turbo: $32,940
  • 2.5 Turbo Premium: $35,140
  • 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus: $36,950

Engine and Performance

The base engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 191 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. The turbocharged version produces 227 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque on 87 octane, while that can increase by 250 hp and 320 lb-ft on 93 octane. All grades come standard with a six-speed automatic transmission and Mazda's i-Active AWD system.

Driver assistance systems, such as adaptive cruise control with stop and go, high beam control, and lane keep assist, are now standard across all models.

Sales growth

Sales of the CX-30 in the U.S. grew 33% in the first half of 2024 compared to the first half of 2023, which is proof that customers have appreciated its design and performance.

Although there may be complaints about the price hike and lack of some features, the Mazda CX-30 still remains a strong competitor in the market due to its attractive design and amazing driving experience.
