Maserati's farewell V8 tribute Quattroporte Grand Finale and MC20 Iris

Maserati announced it would bid goodbye to its iconic V8 engine at the end of 2023, after which the company produced its last V8 engine in July 2024. It is installed in a specially crafted Quattroporte Grand Finale, a unique model built by Maserati's Fuoriserie department.

The Quattroporte Grand Finale is offered in Blue Noble color, featuring a subtle body-color carbon fiber body kit and brushed aluminum brake calipers. Its interior is also equipped with special luxury features, including wood trim, a black stitched Trident logo on the steering wheel, a center console and door panels, and a leather-appointed trunk. The engine cover is also signed.

Along with this, Maserati has also unveiled a special MC20 Iris, painted in AI Aqua Rainbow color. Its interior also features white and blue accents, which make it look more attractive.

These two cars represent two eras of Maserati. While the Quattroporte is the end of the V8 era, the MC20 is the beginning of the Nettuno era, powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine.

Both these cars have been given to an American enthusiast who is recognized as "an important entrepreneur in the biomedical field". This farewell ceremony of Maserati has made a special place in the hearts of car lovers.
