The Maverick Lobo is powered by a 2.0-liter EcoBoost I4 engine that produces 238 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed quick-shift automatic transmission. This power drives the truck through a standard all-wheel-drive system. Ford has replaced its twin-clutch rear-drive axle at the rear to give the Maverick differential torque vectoring.
Ford has added European Focus ST front dual-piston brake calipers and a Kuga steering rack to the Maverick Lobo, giving it a quicker steering ratio. In addition, the Maverick Lobo has been lowered by half an inch at the front and 1.12 inches at the rear, giving it a unique street presence.
The interior of the Maverick Lobo is also special, featuring Grabber Blue and Electric Lime accents, stitchwork, and graffiti-inspired prints on the seat covers. Ford has also added a 'Lobo Mode', which loosens the stability control and makes the Maverick a little more adaptable to rotations.
This new model will start at $36,595 and will be available in early 2025. With the launch of Ford's Maverick Lobo, the compact truck segment has an exciting new option, which can prove to be a great choice for truck buyers.
