Dodge reveals 2024 Charger R/T pricing: Starting at $61,990, Daytona Scat Pack even cheaper

Dodge
Dodge has revealed the pricing of its upcoming 2024 Charger R/T, which will start at $61,990, including destination charge. This price is relatively lower than recent leaked rumors, which had it reaching $70,565. This is good news for new model enthusiast buyers who have their eyes on this powerful battery-electric muscle car.

According to Dodge, the 2024 Charger Daytona Scat Pack will have a starting price of $75,185 after the destination charge, which is $8,980 less than the previously estimated price. This new pricing information matches previous leaks from Dodge and shows that the car's prices haven't changed much.

The official specifications also differ from the initial dealer guide in some ways. While the dealer guide talked about the $4,995 Plus Group, the $1,095 Blacktop Package, and the $2,495 Sun and Sound Group, there is now a slight change in prices. Notably, instead of "First Edition," Dodge has used the term "inaugural year," which leaves many speculations and unknowns about this new model.

Features and options are also worth noting. The Plus Group adds features like a 360-degree surround view camera, premium LED headlamps, and a power hatch, while the R/T trim adds a 16-inch driver display, 20-by-9-inch aluminum wheels, and leatherette seats with ventilation.

Dodge has also revealed special options for the Scat Pack, including a $2,995 carbon and suede package and $695 3-season tires. In addition, both muscle cars are eligible for a $7,500 federal tax credit and customers will also receive a $600 charging credit.

Finally, Dodge has confirmed that battery-electric models will enter production this summer, while gas-powered versions will come online by the second half of 2025. This summer, buyers can use Dodge's horsepower locator for dealer allocations, and real models will be available on dealer lots in Q4 of this year.
