Hyundai has introduced its 2025 Kona models with new trims that include significant changes and additional features. The second-generation Hyundai Kona, including an electric model, is now available with new trims, notably the introduction of a new N Line S model.
Important Changes:
- Trim Updates: The SEL trim has a newly available "Convenience Package" that costs an additional $2,200. A new trim called the N Line S has also been introduced below the N Line, offering a lower spec set with fewer features.
- Power and Performance: SE and SEL trims come with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 147 hp and 132 lb-ft of torque, sent through a CVT. The N Line and N Line S models get a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with 190 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque.
- Electric Version: The 2025 Kona Electric model gets the N Line trim with 64-color ambient lighting and stands out with 19-inch wheels and a black design.

Other Important Features:
- V2L Capability: All Electric Kona models are available with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, which allows the Electric Kona to share its battery power with household needs.
- Interior Updates: N Line and SEL models get LED interior lighting, while N Line S and N Line get 64-color ambient lighting.
